What size room should I have for my pool table?
*What is the difference in felt?

There are many types of felt on the market. Brands such as Championship, Mali, and Forstmann are the standard in the billiard industry. These felts are 75% wool and 25% nylon. Higher quality felts are either Simonis, Brunswick or Granito. These felts are usually a 90%wool and 10% nylon giving you a tighter bound cloth which in turn gives you a faster playing ball.

*How long will it take to re-felt my pool table?

On average it takes 2-3 hours to re-felt a pool table.

*I need to save money, can I move my pool table myself

Can you Yes? Do we recommend it NO WAY! Not only do you risk damaging your table, you risk INJURING yourself.  Slate pool tables must be disassembled in order to be moved properly. Moving a slate table in one piece can cause damage to the aprons, rails and possibly shear the slate screws. It can end up costing you more to repair the table then it would cost to have it professionally moved.

*How long will it take to set-up my pool table?

Average set-up takes approximately 1-1.5 hours

*What's the difference between a slate pool table and non-slate pool table?

Non slate tables are usually made of composite board.

*What do I need to look before when buying a pool table?

SLATE, SLATE SLATE! Stay away from non-slate tables! Non slate tables are made from composite board and will normally warp over time. It is pretty much impossible to level a non slate table. Look for name brands such as Olhausen, Brunswick, Gandy. Check the cushions/rubbers. You should have good bounce back off the rubbers. You can test this by rolling the ball against the rail and counting the amount of times the ball comes back to you. A good rubber will bounce a ball back THREE times. If you roll the ball and it THUDS against the rail then your rubbers are "dead". Keep in mind to replace the rubbers will cost $145.00 plus the felt will need to be replaced which is another $295.00. Such a small oversight can be quite costly.

*How high should my pool table light hang?
